Description
Details
1: In a classroom setting you may want to give the students a basic pattern
to start the conversation going. For example; if you are doing phone
conversations then write a few starter sentences on the board (Hello
Sarah, what are you doing tonight? Iam going ... )
2: The students must keep the conversation going as long as possible. The
first person to stall too long loses.
3: In a classroom setting if you make two teams, you could have them face-off
against each other (one pair at a time). Therefore, if team 1 pauses too
long than team two gets a point. The team with the most points is the
winner.
4: You could also use props or situation cards to steer the conversation.
5: You could also give them more information (eg. Kouji: You really like
Sarah and want a date. Sarah: you really don't like Kouji make excuses)
